Selena Gomez entered rehab under the radar last month for emotional issues. The brunette beauty spent two weeks in The Meadows in Arizona for treatment according to TMZ. Allegedly Gomez entered for issues with alcohol, pot and prescription Ambien and she blames Bieber for introducing her to the excess of drugs while with him and his friends.Gomez was suffering from exhaustion and a broken heart according to RadarOnline. A rep for Gomez confirmed the stay, but says it was not for substance abuse, “Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse.” Bur a sourcee says Selena was partying hard before entering. Who knew? Selena does a great job of keeping her image pretty clean even while dating Bieber.
But Selena’s close family and friends became worried about her,“Her friends and family became increasingly worried that there might be a serious problem with Selena,” said a source.“Particularly, her parents. The partying was, at times, wild. They wanted to help her — and they very much encouraged her to go to rehab. Others very close to her also urged her to seek professional help.”
“It’s important to remember that Selena had worked in Hollywood non-stop for six years,” another source told Radar. “She was exhausted. Selena was smart enough to understand that she needed to take control of her life. It just got to a point where she needed to get out of Los Angeles, get away from ‘the scene’ and the pressures of Hollywood, to also get away from those who had, admittedly, become a bad influence on her. Selena needed to take the opportunity to work on herself. She realized she needed help.”
But wasn’t Selena spotted with Bieber in January…on the segways…and it seems as id she entered rehab right after that encounter! But maybe Selena’s problem has been happening for longer…remember when she canceled her tour in December…seems like Selena’a had an issue for a few months now!
