Shakira’s ex-boyfriend, Antonio de la Rúa claims he is entitled to a portion of her fortune after helping her build her brand and he wants a $100 million payout!  De la Rúa slapped Shakira with the lawsuit in California claiming he helped build the “Shakira brand” helped her with her hit songs “Hips Don’t Lie” and “Waka Waka.” But Shakira does not believe she owes him a penny and says she was already a star when she met him back in 2000 and was “already a well-known and recognized artist with an established international career.” The new mommy does acknowledge that she turned to him for advice, but was one of her  “numerous advisers,” and helped him out despite his lack of “experience or knowledge of the music industry.”  De la Rúa’s father was forced to resign as Argentina’s president and he and his sone became exiled, so she employed him.

De la Rúa claims he had to convince her to record “Hips Don’t Lie” although she hated it and that the song later helped her land a lucrative deal with Live Nation for $300 million in 2008 and he also says he  inspired her song “Waka Waka,” which later  became the anthem for the World Cup in 2010. De la Rue’s attorney tells E! News, “We just want to have our day in court.”

Without real concrete evidence this one is not looking good for him…
