Simon Cowell always knew Demi Lovato was going to up an leave him…The X Factor after this season. “I always knew she wasn’t coming back because she’s touring, so I knew that,” Cowell told reporters after the show last night. And it will be a girl power tour with opening acts Cher Lloyd, Fifth Harmony and Little Mix hitting the road with the pop star. Demi told reporters, “I started the show being a singer and a musician, and so I’m going to go back to that. It’s been really great, but I’m so excited for 2014. I’m going to dedicate it completely and entirely to music—touring and making a new album. Possibly releasing one.”
Does Simon have any ideas for a new judge, “There is somebody in mind who we’ve wanted for a while for this show that has suddenly become available…. [H]e’s larger than life and would be spectacular.”
