SNL gave Alec Baldwin’s Trump the night off—maybe Alec was busy but Putin of course made an appearance for the shows cold open and it was pretty funny! “Hello, America. Yesterday, we all made Donald Trump the 45th president of the United States. Hurray, we did it! And today, many of you are scared and marching in the streets. You are worried that your country is in the hands of this unpredictable man. But don’t worry. It’s not. Relax. I got this. Putin’s going to make everything OK,” the Russian pres joked!
Host Aziz Ansari also took on Trump, casual racists and Islam in his monologue.
