Sofia Vergara is looking to squash her embryo lawsuit once and for all. The Modern Family star and her ex-fiance, Nick Loeb have been embattled for nearly two years over a set of frozen embryo made during their relationship. According to TMZ, Sofia is asking the court to block Loeb from taking control of the embryos and bring them to term without her consent. Late last year Loeb dropped his case against her—in order to possibly refile his case again she says. But Vergara is standing firm saying that Nick signed a contract over the frozen embryos during their relationship—he can’t bring the embryos to term unless she agrees PLUS—-she wants some cash for all the trouble he has put her through.

In 2014, Nick attempted to sue Sofia for their embryos, after their split. He argued he wanted to bring the embryos (girls) to term, but Sofia declined as she had already moved on to a new relationship. She has since married.
