Steve Harvey did not have it easy after he made that major mistake at Miss Universe—you know naming the wrong winner and then publicly have to fix his mistake. The host now says he received death death after naming Miss Colombia the winner of Miss Universe only to take the crown to give it to the actual winner Miss Philippines. “People don’t understand the damage of social media. Your kids go through it. Your wife goes through it. Death threats against my family… I can’t let my kids go nowhere. That’s difficult.”
Next week Steve will sit down with the two ladies separately on the “Steve Harvey Show” airing on Monday and Tuesday (previously recorded). Harvey finally sat down with Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and asked for forgiveness. “This has caused a lot of sleepless nights for me. I didn’t do any interviews until I could talk to the two people who were affected the most, Pia and Ariadna. No matter how tough it was for me, I can’t imagine how it was for these two women. This finally gives me a chance to have a moment of closure.”
