"Late Show with David Letterman" - October 28, 2014

Taylor Swift nice level just went up through the roof. We always knew Taylor loved her fans, but the newly minted pop star (her new album 1989 is exclusively pop, a departure from her country roots) plans to donate the proceeds from her new song, “Welcome to New York” to New York City public schools. This comes after Taylor was named the New York City Global Welcome Ambassador. She became a resident of NYC this year and truly seems to love it!

During Taylor’s stop at The View she spoke about her love of NY and her donation initaitive, “I love it here. I love it so much … I don’t think I told anybody this before, but the fans were wonderful enough to make it No. 1 on iTunes. It’s selling really well — which is good, because I’m donating all of my proceeds to New York City public schools.”
