Taylor Swift made a smart and fast decision to scoop up any domain name combinations to keep her image clean and clear of porn. According to CNNMoney, .com’s and .net’s won’t be the lone rangers on the internet anymore…new suffixes are being added via the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers and .porn and .adult will join the world wide web (wow that sounds old). Taylor Swift beat others to the punch and purchased the domain names before her name could get a dirty ending.
Those new domains will become available on June 1st but a select group of people and companies were approached first the purchase the names and Taylor decided to jump on the opportunist which is mandated by ICANN.
So Taylor now owns TaylorSwift.porn and TaylorSwift.adult.
