Taylor Swift’s 1989 swept the Billboard charts landing 1.287 million copies sold in her first week. 1989 went straight to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and was the best selling album since 2002. This is Taylor’s fourth No. 1 album following, Red, Speak Now and Fearless.
1989 is the top selling album in 2014. Taylor came under some scrutiny for pulling her music from the streaming music service, Spotify! But she will head on tour in 2015.
