Wait a Minute…Snooki and JWoWW aren’t Italian…

Hold the phone…I thought that to be a guidette/guido you had to be Italian or at least partially Italian…and Snooki and JWoWW aren’t Italian and Ronnie is only half Italian…what has the world come to.

Jenni “JWoWW” Farley sat down with FoxNews and explained that being a guidette has nothing to do with ethnicity and more to do with a lifestyle…whatever…

Jenni Farley, otherwise known as J-WOWW on the series, was a guest on Strategy Room Entertainment Hour on Monday. She broke “Jersey Shore” news during her visit, when she said some of the cast members – famous for calling themselves “guido” and “guidette” — aren’t Italian.

“I’m not even Italian,” said Farely. “So that sterotype doesn’t even fit me. And two other castmates, Nicole (Snooki) isn’t, and Ron’s not full Italian either.”

I asked why the cast member known as Snooki labeled herself the “ultimate guidette” on the series. Farley said the term has to do with behaviors, not ethnicity.

“It’s a lifestyle,” says Farley. “It’s the scene that we’re in. It’s not, like, Italians.”

Whether that explanation will hold water with UNICO is yet to be seen. In the meantime, J-WOWW’s visit led to plenty of emails from our audience – some outraged, some intrigued.

For those wondering about J-WOWW’s background, she says, “I’m Spanish and Irish. I thought people would catch that with my last name, Farley.”
