Whitney Houston’s body arrived in New Jersey late last night via Tyler Perry’s private jet as her family begins funeral arrangements. The funeral will be held at the Whigham Funeral Home.

According to People,

Security was tight at the Teterboro, N.J., airport, where a gold hearse left the airport heading to the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark. About 50 fans mourning the death of 48-year-old Houston, who was found in the bathtub of her Beverly Hilton suite on Saturday, sung along to some of her greatest hits and lit candles in her memory.

While the Houston family has remained mum on the details of the funeral, theAssociated Press reports that a wake may be planned for Thursday and a funeral for Friday, reportedly at Newark’s Prudential Center, which seats about 18,000 people.

There is a conflicting right now between family members on where Whitney’s final resting place should be!

Family sources tell TMZ … Dionne Warwick, Whitney’s cousin, and Cissy Houston, Whitney’s mom, both want the burial to take place in Atlanta. They believe Atlanta is the place Whitney enjoyed the most and had the fondest memories.

But the rest of the family wants Whitney buried in Newark — where she was born, and subsequently discovered at a local Baptist church.

We’re told Cissy’s position is succinct:  “Michael Jackson did not want to be buried in Neverland, and Whitney did not want to be buried in New Jersey.”

We’re told Cissy and Dionne caved, after other family members convinced them NewJersey is where the world will remember her most.

It’s unclear why they think the world will remember Whitney more in Newark than ATL.

Bobbi Kristina has also arrived in New Jersey!
