Carly Rose Sonenclar lost The X Factor last night, but that’s wasn’t the only thing that upset the  Sonenclar family. TMZ reports the teens parents were upset with LeAnn Rimes after a rumor circulated that Rimes had dissed the 13-year-old for her performance during their ‘How Do I Live’  live performance. In the original report Rimes said, “I was trying to help this 13-year-old girl who was having some trouble with the song” when speculation began to arise that Rimes was drunk or impaired during her performance, which she later denied.  Her lawyer Larry Stein allegedly told TMZ and said, “LeAnn was not performing the way she would normally perform, because she was on stage with a young girl.” That’s funny since Carly out sang Rimes. Now claims she never gave that quote to TMZ, tweeting,  “In my 18 years of performing, I have never been anything but professional onstage. It is a shame that gossip and lies are overshadowing the performance of Carly, a very talented young girl. And while I have not given any media outlet a quote, if you want one, here it is “It was an amazing opportunity to share this experience with Carly and I know I’ll be watching for her to win tonight.”

But Sonenclar’s family is fuming at Rimes according to TMZ saying Carly did better that LeAnn on her own song and are upset she tried to throw Carly under the bus!

Sources connected with the family tell us … the 13-year-old girl’s mother is livid that Rimes would dare say Carly Rose was “nervous and had trouble hitting the right notes” when she sang “How Do I Live.”

As you know … Carly Rose did a duet of the song with Rimes on the show.  People on social media went crazy after the performance, claiming Rimes was drunk.

TMZ broke the story … Rimes insists she was sober, but says if things were awkward, it was only because, “I was trying to help this 13-year-old girl who was having some trouble with the song.”  Rimes later claimed she never gave a quote, but we can tell you … her rep specifically gave us the quote and told us we could use it.

Carly Rose’s mother and other relatives are telling people they can’t believe LeAnn threw their daughter under the bus, and that it was clear — Carly Rose was a pro and even out-performed LeAnn at her own song.
