Zooey Deschanel can now add designer to her resume…after actor and singer. Zooey will bring her 60’s style vibe to her collection with Hilfiger. The collection, debuting in April, will include dresses and accessories, Zoey’s staples and be cutely called, To Tommy, From Zooey. “Working with Tommy on this capsule collection has been really amazing,” Deschanel said in a statement. “I am a fashion fanatic … Tommy and I share many of the same inspirations — old school music, classic films and old Hollywood icons — and his guidance during the design process helped to put a really unique twist on each piece.”
The collection will blend together Deschanel’s signature 60’s style mashed up with Hilfiger’s patrotic color scheme and will be called, “modical.” The collection will be prices $98 to $199; dresses will be available at Macy’s stores and online April 14, but some dresses and an exclusive line of handbags and jewelry will launch in Tommy Hilfiger April 21.
