Kim Kardashian says Paris robbery was ‘meant to happen’. Kim stopped by Ellen Degeneres and tearfully recounted her traumatic Paris robbery which she says has now made her a better person. “I know this sounds crazy, but I know that was meant to happen to me. I don’t want to start crying, but I feel like that was so meant to happen to me. I’m such a different person. I, um…I don’t want to start crying anymore. It was meant to happen to me. I really feel like things happen in your life to teach you things. It was probably no secret, and you see it on the show—I was being flashy and I was definitely materialistic before. I’m so happy that my kids get this me and that this is who I’m raising my kids [as]. ‘Cause I just don’t care about that stuff anymore. I really don’t.”

Wow this is a different Kim—and she says she also found out that the robbers had been following her for two years and watching her interview to see what jewelry she had.

Kim also touched on Caitlyn Jenner’s new book, The Secrets of My Life and how it has affected her mother, Kris Jenner. “My heart breaks for my mom, because I feel like she’s been through so much…She’s promoting this book and she’s saying all these things and you know, I just don’t think it’s necessary. I just feel like it’s unfair, things aren’t truthful.”

Caitlyn still maintains that Kris knew about her gender issues. “I tell Kris about my gender issues before I make love to her.” Jenner writes in her new book, “This will always be a subject of dispute between Kris and me as to how much she could intuit about my gender issues. She insists she was taken by surprise by my ultimate transition to Caitlyn.”
