So…Alec Baldwin stopped by SNL last night…errrr–I mean the American Airlines pilot, Capt. Steve Rogers!
“It was awful, Seth,” Rogers, speaking in a broad Southern accent, tells Weekend Update host Seth Meyers, “which is why it was very important for me to come here tonight and on behalf of everyone at American Airlines issue an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin.”
“Alec, are you sure this is the right way to handle this?”
Rogers brushes him off and continues, “Mr. Baldwin is an American treasure and I am ashamed of the way he was treated.”
