Amanda Bynes

Amanda Bynes has been placed on a a long-term hold allegedly at  UCLA Medical Center. The doctors at the facility treating her asked the judge to keep her in the  mental health facility for up to a year according to TMZ and has transferred control of Amanda’s care to her mother, Lynn who is her temporary conservator. Although Amanda could be held for up to a year, the facility wants to monitor her for the next 60 days and then possibly transfer her to her mother’s home.

E!News spoke with A Rep Tamar Armanak representing Amanda and claims publicist Jonathan Jaxson does not represent the actress nor does he know about her medical care.”Jonathan Jaxson does not represent the Bynes family or Amanda We are not sure why he is commenting on Amanda’s health care or representing himself as a publicist hired by her family. Amanda’s family continues to be devoted to their daughter’s well being. Up until today, Amanda has been at Hillmont [Psychiatric Center in Ventura, Calif.] and not at UCLA Medical Center. The photographs of a woman in a blue wig exiting Hillmont for UCLA Medical Center two weeks ago were not of Amanda Bynes.”
