Tribeca Film Institute Hosts a Benefit Screening of "New Year's Eve" - Arrivals

Brian Williams may still have a job with NBC, but maybe no long as their Nightly News anchor. Williams was suspended for six months following his admission of lying while recounting a story he reported on during the Iraq War. According to CNNMoney, some at NBC wants to keep Wiliams, but not as the anchor of Nightly News (Lester Holt is currently the anchor), but in a new position.

But other sources claim that the once revered newsman may just get the boot from NBC, altogether. Andy Lack, the chairman of NBC News want to keep Williams, and is trying to figure out how he can do that, “Andy’s contorting to figure out a way to keep Brian,” a sources said. BUt if Williams does decide to leave or is asked to step down he could still walk away with a few dollars in his pocket. he has just signed a 5-year, $10 million a year deal. He would have to sort that all out!

It’s ben four months since Williams suspension and within the next two months we should know the fate of his career with NBC. Will they ride for him or cut him loose?
