Britney Spears’ team on The X Factor almost won the entire competition with Carly Rose Sonenclar, but that may not save her gig as a judge on the show. Simon Cowell originally wanted crazy Britney, not a composed reserved one. “Britney will get the boot. Producers wanted her for the long haul, but it isn’t working.” Demi Lovato may also get the boot (maybe not since she had a fun snarky relationship with Cowell). Spears may be too expensive for the show with her $15 million contract, but her big payday did not amount to higher ratings! “They paid all that for her to say ‘amazing’ and offer half-claps.” Another sources added, Cowell wanted, “He wanted crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney.”
