Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are ready to make it official! Diaz and Madden are allegedly engaged, but after some suspicious deliveries were made to Cammy’s Beverly Hills mansion it became clear that something big was happening…like a wedding after Sunday’s alleged rehearsal dinner. According to TMZ, a large amount of flowers, beverages, rentals and catering were seen being delivered to the home, as a huge tent was spotted in the backyard. Annnd celeb wedding planner Yifat Oren was spotted at the estate.
“There is a lot of security and they are trying to keep the wedding hush-hush by telling neighbors that Cameron is having a pre-Golden Globes party tonight,” a source told People. “It will start past dark tonight. They are setting things up in the lush backyard.”
Cameron never seemed interested in marriage, but she may have changed her mind. She once claimed humans might not be monogamous animals in an interview with Instyle. “A lot of people chase after it because they’ve been told, ‘This equals happiness.’ They chase it, they get it, and they find out, ‘Why did I think this was going to make me happy? I’m miserable!’ I don’t know if anyone is really naturally monogamous. We all have the same instincts as animals. But we live in a society where it’s been ingrained in us to do these things.”
The couple were introduced by Benji’s sister-in-law, Nicole Richie and have been dating for about 7 months. Over the weekend the couple hosted a few events and maybe even a bachelorette party.
Maybe its a wedding or just a party…well wait and see if there is some sort of announcement or confirmation.
