Chord Overstreet may be moving on from Glee, but he has landed a role on ABC’s The Middle with Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn.
Overstreet will guest star as Ralph Wilkerson, Brick Heck’s shiny new, young and idealistic fourth grade teacher, whose innovative and involved teaching methods run counter to Frankie and Mike’s “more relaxed†parenting style.
Overstreet will appear in the September 28 episode and will be shooting his scenes this week. Season three of The Middle returns to ABC with a one-hour season premiere (featuring guest star Ray Romano) on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at 8/7c.
