Christie Brinkley is currently involved in a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband, Peter Cook and when she stopped by The Today show this morning she had a breakdown on live TV. Christie says that Peter continues to harrass her even after their divorce.
“He continues to contact me, and that’s the problem. So I quietly asked the judge, ‘Please make this stop. Protect my right to peace.’
“I just want peace for my family … and I also … sorry. I just want peace. And any time I have any joy or any kind of success in anything, he has to try and destroy it.â€
Christie also says that Peter refuses to pay his $1,800 child support payments. Christie and Peter split after it surfaced that Peter had cheated with an 18-year-old girl.
