Wowwwwww, so Make Up For Ever just tried to shade Fenty Beauty and Rihanna hit back. So let’s get a little detail on the beef—ever since Rihanna launched super inclusive foundation launch with Fenty Beauty brands have been shook to the core and are attempting to highlight their own diversity. But striking out at Rihanna’s very much loved Fenty Beauty just isn’t the way to do it.
Rihanna’s Fenty Feud?
So here’s what happened…Make Up For Ever (which we love by the way and purchase) went on Instagram and shared a photo of their foundation along with the caption, “40 shades is nothing new to us -👄- Since 2015, the #ultraHDfoundation released 40 shades for everyone’s unique skin tone understanding the difference between red and yellow undertones. With expertise, time and passion – we shall continue to develop and improve our products for pros, for you, for everyone…”. OMG wow! But even better is that Rihanna responded under the post, “lol still ashy” and “shook”!
Rihanna is getting a lot of love for her new line with mostly positive reviews. And we have to highlight that Maybeline and L’Oreal both have a huge range of foundations colors so people there is room for everyone. But I guess the new kid in town is really causing a stir.
