So sad. Paul Walker’s father Paul Walker Sr. teared up during an interview with L.A.’s CBS2 talking about his son. “I’m just glad that every time I saw him, I told him I loved him. And he would say the same thing to me.” He added Walker’s brothers “are all taking it pretty hard. His heart was so big. I was proud of him every day of his life.”
Walker Sr. also added that Paul wanted to spend more time with his daughter, Meadow, 15 “I want to take a hiatus. She’s just 15 and I don’t have much more time to be with her,'” Paul told his father. “Then boom, he got another movie. He would say, ‘I don’t know what to do.”
Meadow who was at the charity event is still ‘shocked ‘ at her father’s passing. “Friends have flown in to be with her. She is in OK spirits and dealing with it the best she can for a 15 year old. She is surrounded by family and friends and they are trying comfort her and help her get through this. Everyone is taking it hard, but there has been a large outpouring of love and support for the family.”
Jim Torp, who was at the Reach Out Worldwide charity event, say Meadow “was in pieces” after learning about her father’s death. “They kept his daughter off to the side, so she wouldn’t know what was going on until they really know what had happened,” Torp said. Reports have also went around that the driver, Rodger Rodas’ son, 8 was at the scene of teh accident trying to get to his father.
