Elizabeth Pena’s cause of death has been revealed. The La Bamba star died from complications from alcohol abuse according to death certificate obtained by TMZ. Pena suffered from cirrhosis of the liver “due to alcohol.” The actress had the disease for the past few months, but died on October 14th at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. after when her heart stopped due to acute gastrointestinal bleeding.
So sad!
