I usually only use gel to slick back my hair In a ponytail. When I was younger and embraced my curls I would use gel and then blast them with hairspray…ummm crunchy (the good old times) but my hair would never really crunch like other girls I knew. I hate how sticky gel is but gels have come a long way and now they come in like a liquid form, sprays and foams. I like spray gels because you don’t have to put it on your hands but the formulas tend to be lighter than other formulas. Sometimes I need super duper hold especially with today’s NYC weather (muggy).
