Ok, so Iggy Azalea is not on board for the ‘Lady Marmalade’ remake Rita Ora was trying to jump start. Rita reportedly told The Sun, “I’m trying to round up the troops. I think it would be me, Miley Cyrus, Charli XCX—she’d be fun—and Iggy.” Well Iggy said no way already! “Please leave me out of the whole Lady Marmalade conversation. I have nothing to do with ritas ideas & agree it should be left alone. Thanks,” Iggy tweeted after the story went live. Wow, Ouch!
The 2001 remake featured Pink, Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim and Mya for the Moulin Rogue soundtrack!
Perhaps people may be interested in a remake, but not with these certain singers…?
