Everybody get crazy, the rebooted American Idol is about to get real colorful with their new judge—-the one and only Katy Perry. After a weekend of swirling rumors ABC made it official at the Upfronts and announced Perry as their first high profile judge. “I am honored and thrilled to be the first judge bringing back the American Idol tradition of making dreams come true for incredible talents with authentic personalities and real stories. I’m always listening to new music, and love discovering diamonds in the rough – from mentoring young artists on my label, or highlighting new artists on my tours, I want to bring it back to the music,” Katy said in a statement since she couldn’t make the announcement news.
On a side note Katy stopped by Ellen ans chatted about her new hairdo’. “I did it about a month and change ago. I don’t know if you’ve ever dyed your hair blonde ― and too blonde ― sometimes your hair falls out when you go too blonde. So, that’s the way I handled it.” All that bleaching damage.
