Jason Brock was eliminated last night on ‘The X Factor.’ After Cece Frey performed Cher’s “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me” and Brock performed Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” the judges went to a deadlock with L.A. Reid and Britney Spears voting for Cece Frey to go home and Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato voting for Brock to go home and it came down to America’s votes and Brock was sent packing! Brock ended his run on the show saying, “I did it for the gays. . . and Japan! I love it there and have visited recently and I do want to go back and maybe even work there,” he told Us. “I just wanted to be clear that I really love Japan. Please give me a job, Japan! But I do want to work in America, too.” Brocks BF lives in Japan.
Simon Cowell says America got it right! “I think other people should have gone in his place. So, I never believed he had a cat in hell’s chance of winning. He is what he is. He’s a nice guy. He’s a cabaret singer, but he doesn’t have the X factor.”
