Jenni Rivera’s remains have been identified and been given to her family according to Mexican authorities. DNA tests revealed that the remains were indeed Rivera after her family held onto hope that the singer was still alive and possibly being held for ransom. Rivera’s brother, Lupillo was given the remains. The other passengers on the flight are also being identified. On a side note two state police officers were arrested for stealing form the crash site and recording the wreckage and possibly selling the footage to the Mexican media.
