Jennifer Hudson will pay tribute to Whitney Houston at tonight’s Grammy Awards. For Grammy executive producer Ken Ehrlich, it has been a mad dash to figure out how to honor Whitney with just hours until the show!
“It was a big shock when the news hit,” said a low-key Ehrlich. “We’re definitely going to do something, but in some ways it’s too fresh and too early to do a full-blown tribute.”
Ehrlich contacted Jennifer Hudson to see what they could pull off last minute,
“I asked her if she’d come, and we’re trying to figure out what she’ll do to honor (Houston). After all, she was so associated with the Grammys as a performer and as a winner (Houston won 6 Grammys out of 26 nominations).”
And The Grammy host, LL Cool J is distraught and sad.
“He’s trying to see what exactly he’ll say, but I’m glad he’s able to do so,” said Ehrlich.
