No official statement have been made as the cause of death for Whitney Houston but sources are telling TMZ that Whitney was found in the bathroom of her Beverly Hilton hotel room! By the time ambulance arrived she had been removed for the tub.
Beverly Hilton hotel employees tell TMZ … Whitney Houston was found dead in the bathtub of her room.
As we previously reported, a member of Whitney’s entourage discovered her unresponsive and called hotel security, who then called 911.
We’re told police arrived to the scene within minutes and fire was already there on an unrelated call. Paramedics performed CPR, but it did not work and she was pronounced dead at 3:55 PM.
Our sources say there were no obvious signs of foul play, but BH PD detectives have begun a full investigation.
As of this post, cops are still waiting on a warrant to search the room.
Prescription drugs were allegedly found on the scene, but still not word on if she has taken anything!
No illegal drugs have been found in the hotel room where Whitney Houston died — at least not yet — but prescription drugs were present, and it’s possible the singer drowned in the bathtub … TMZ has learned.
Sources tell us … when EMTs arrived Whitney’s body was already removed from the bathtub so it will take an autopsy to determine if she OD’d, drowned or died from some other cause.
Informed sources tell us … Beverly Hills cops — who were still searching the room at the time this story was posted — found various pill bottles. There was no evidence that Whitney was drinking alcohol in the room.
Whitney’s body was just removed from the room on a gurney. It will go to the morgue for an autopsy to determine cause of death.
Whitney’s daughter tried to see her mother in the hotel room according to Extra and was denied because the scene was under investigation…she was seen kicking and screaming! Poor Bobbi Kristina!
The source revealed Bobbi Kristina was “crying and screaming” before Ray J came over to hug and console her. Two ambulances arrived to the hotel immediately after.
Another insider said the singer came to the hotel bar on Wednesday night “acting strange as if she was high on something, went to the bar for a drink and Bobbi Kristina was with her and then Whitney left skipping and laughing.”
