OMG, just when we thought the Jersey Shore might be over after season 5, MTV might be scouting a new location for the Jersey transplants, somewhere closer to Manhattan...
Producers of MTV’s reality show “Jersey Shore†are scouting locations in Jersey City for their upcoming sixth season, which could bring the cast closer to Manhattan. Sources say they’ve been in touch with Jersey City officials about obtaining permits to film there. But they’re also looking into Las Vegas and Los Angeles as possibilities for the reality series’ ill-mannered party crew. “Shore†has been optioned for another season, but none of the cast has been presented with new contracts, sources say. An MTV rep said “no decision has been made.†Gov. Chris Christie nixed $420,000 in tax credits from New Jersey’s Economic Development Authority last year.
