Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting with their second child. The Kensington Palace confirmed Monday that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, “The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news that their royal highnesses are expecting their second child.”
The official announcement added, “As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The Duchess is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.”
Kate may already have to reschedule her public appearances. Kate and William are already parents to Prince George who was born on July 22, 2013.
