Kathy Griffin is dunzo over at CNN. Just a day after she posted a photo of a decapitated Donald Trump dummy for a photo shoot —which she later apologized for—CNN decided to axe the comedian and their New Years Eve program with co-host with Anderson Cooper. “CNN has terminated our agreement with Kathy Griffin to appear on our New Year’s Eve program,” the network’s communications team tweeted on Wednesday. This comes hours after CNN first tweeted they were mulling over their decision to continue to invite Kathy on the NYE show with Anderson. “We found what she did disgusting and offensive. We are pleased to see she has apologized and asked that the photos be taken down. We are evaluating our New Year’s Eve coverage and have made no decisions at this time.”

Kathy’s longtime friend, Anderson Cooper tweeted his disapproval to the image. “For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.” And Kathy apologized for the image (photographer Tyler Shields). “I’m a comic. I crossed the line,” she said in a Twitter video. “I moved the line, then I crossed it. I went way too far. The image is too disturbing. I understand how it offends people. It wasn’t funny. I get it. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my career. I will continue. … I beg for your forgiveness.”
