Katy Perry may rock out for one of the biggest events on TV….The Super Bowl. Katy has allegedly been chosen at the Super Bowl half time performer a source confirmed to Billboard.
Katy had been on a short list of performers that included Rihanna and Coldplay, but RiRi was scrapped after that CBS decided not to use her song, “Run This Town” after Ravens player Ray Rice was accused of domestic violence against his wife.
But then a rumor hit that the league wanted the artist to pay to play, Perry recently said, “I’m not the kind of girl who would pay to play the Super Bowl.”
She would be such a fun Super Bowl performer…energy galore!
