Kim Kardashian is getting divorced after just 72 days…it feels strange saying that! Anyways there is a ton of speculation over why the seemingly happy couple are now dunzo. Sources say Kim was highly upset and crying over the weekend about making this decision even though she managed to get dressed up as ‘Poison Ivy’ to party in Vegas…but I guess she was working!
Kim Kardashian agonized over her decision to divorce Kris Humphries, and didn’t make the final decision until Sunday night … TMZ has learned.
Sources directly connected with Kim tell us … KK cried all weekend, deciding to file legal docs, then changing her mind several times over.
We’re told she clearly wasn’t happy but wasn’t 100% sure the marriage was irretrievably broken.
As for why she finally pulled the trigger … we’re told Kim was shocked and angry that Kris hired a Hollywood publicist. As she put it to one of her friends, “He’s not in f**king Hollywood. He plays sports.”
A few possible reasons for the split…
1. Kris said insensitive things to Kim like…in the new preview for Kourtney & Kim Take New York,
“How am I going to have my career and live in Minnesota?” Kardashian gripes to Humphries in a scene from a preview clip of her E! show Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
“Baby,” Humphries snaps back, “by the time you have kids and they’re in school, no one will care about you.”
2. Maybe Kim was never in love with Kris,
“Kim was never in love with Kris. Kris certainly wasn’t in love with Kim. There was a lot of affection between the two, but it wasn’t love. Kim was still in love with Reggie Bush, make no mistake about that. Kim’s relationship with Kris just didn’t have that intensity or that deep feeling of love, period.”
3. Kris was not working, Kim is a workaholic.
4. Kim & Kris rushed marriage,
“She rushed into it too fast,” a source close to Kim told PEOPLE shortly after news broke of the split. “She’s holding it together. It’s insanely troubling and heartbreaking, but it’s a decision she knew had to be made.”
5. There were a few rumor that Kris had been spotted with other girls
The two met exactly 1 year ago at a basketball game! Kim is currently in Australia promoting her new handbag line…she definitely got out of the country!
