Last night’s VH1 Honors looked like the Lil Kim show. Although the show dubbed, “All Hail the Queens” honored Kim, Queen Latifah, Salt -n-Pepa with Spin and Missy Elliot —-the biggest honors when to the very outspoken Kim. But for Kim the show brought in Teyana Taylor and Lil Mama to create some of Lil Kim’s best moments in music and then there was the Lil Kim inspired fashion show. She really was ahead of her curve—
Fantasia, Monica and Tweet honored Missy’s for her producer-writer excellence, Eve, Ashanti, Dreezy and Keke Palmer paid tribute to Salt-n-Pepa with a medley of hits and Queen Latifah demanded “U.N.I.T.Y.” and got a Bett White shout out!
