After a long battle Marc Anthony has finally settle his child support court case with ex-wife, Dayanara Torres. The Latin crooner was ordered by a judge to pay his ex-wife, $26,800, even though Marc’s team offered more. Torres originally wanted her payment to be upped to $123,426 a month from the $13,400 she currently gets, but that was rejected. She claimed lifestyle changes and the need for a nanny and housekeeper would cost her $7,000 a month as reasons for the child support increase.
In the original agreement, Anthony had to pay child support until his sons turned 21 and pay for a college education, but under California law the judge ruled Anthony would only have to pay the support until the boys turn 18. Anthony and Torres were married between 2000 and 2004 and have two sons, Christian and Ryan. before he married Jennifer Lopez just one week after his divorce from Torres.
I’m sure Dayanara was expecting a little more but the judge was not ruling in her favor even when Anthony’s team offered more money for things like travel.
