Michael Clarke Duncan’s sudden death was caused by natural causes although Duncan did have a many believed he died from complication of the heart attack he suffered in July. According to E!News, Assistant Coroner Chief Ed Winter said Duncan’s personal physician signed off on the star’s death as natural and added that the coroner’s office found no reason to contradict that finding. Duncan and girlfriend, Omarosa Manigault were engaged and planned to wed in January, TMZ has learned. Only close family and friends of the couple knew about the engagement.
We’re told Omarosa is just destroyed after waging a valiant fight to save Michael. She had doctors flown in from all over the world but constantly worried if she was doing enough.
Michael died while still in the hospital Monday morning. He was 54.
Omarosa, who had just left town for an engagement before Michael’s death, returned to L.A. last night … and was sobbing uncontrollably at LAX.
