Update: Reps for both Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth confirm to PEOPLE exclusively that the engagement is off between the two stars.
Dunzo…Miley Cyrus and LiamHemsworth split and four years together and an engagement according to Eonline. “Miley’s decision, after coming to grips with Liam what she believed was less than faithful to her.” The couple were last spotted on August 8 for the premiere of Paranoia, in Los Angeles. Liam did not attend the MTV VMAs, where Miley gave a very controverial performance with Robin Thicke. Then Miley went and unfollowed Liam on Twitter busting open the split rumors.
“They’ve split for now,” a source RadarOnline.com. “Miley and Liam have a very tumultuous relationship and both are exhausted. It’s a complicated relationship. The wedding is on hold, for now. It’s not cancelled but it doesn’t look promising. Liam really does care about Miley, but her racy new look and sort of ghetto attitude isn’t exactly what he signed up for,” a pal told Radar.“Her VMA performance absolutely mortified him and he couldn’t be more embarrassed. He doesn’t really see anything sexy about what she did on stage.”
Miley even told Harper’s Bazaar about not having time for a wedding. “I definitely don’t have time to deal with a wedding right now. But I will at some point.” But she doesn’t have to worry about that now that she the two are dunzo! Liam was spotted over the weekend at the Maywather fight solo. Miley also told the mag, “I was an adult when I was supposed to be a kid. So now I’m an adult and I’m acting like a kid.”
