Olympian Lolo Jones is opening up about a very sensitive topic…her virginity!Lolo wants to save herself from marriage but has found it incredibly difficult since she is 29 years old. She tells HBO’s “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel” that she is looking to settle down and get married!
“It’s just something, a gift that I want to give to my husband, but please understand this journey has been hard. If there’s virgins out there, I just want to let them know, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. Harder than training for the Olympics, harder than graduating from college, has been to stay a virgin before marriage.”
“I’ve been tempted. I’ve had guys tell me, they’re like, ‘Hey you know if you have sex it will help you run faster,’ she added, ‘If you marry me, then yeah.'”
I love her honesty…I think I cried when she didn’t make that hurdle 4 years ago. Hopefully 2012 is her year! I am a fan!
