Makeup Forever High Definition Foundation has been around for a while, but I jumped at the chance of trying it when MUFE released an ad that stated, “You’re looking at the first unretouched make up ad.” I said to myself that I had to try a foundation that could have the boost such claims. So I got it!

Time to apply…

So, after I applied my my foundation primer I broke out my foundation brush and went to town on my face. The foundation went on real smooth and gave great coverage. But I had a few glitches due to my skin type. I tend to have some dry patches on my face that aren’t that visible, but when you get real close as I did  in the mirror I can see it…so now back to the foundation, It felt very natural. I would say the foundation is medium-ish which is great because I don’t like to look heavy, but on my dry spots or imperfections (for example, tiny hairs on my face) the foundation looked a little more cakey than the rest of my face! What I ended up doing is reaching for a good face lotion to spread out the foundation better in those certain spots and it looked way better. I would give this foundation a B+. The foundation left my skin very even and smooth. I probably have to moisturize my face better and I wouldn’t have those cakey dry patches.

Price $40. for 1.01 Fl. Oz at Make Up For Ever or Sephora

Pros: Great coverage, Easy to apply, Dewy finish and Natural looking

Cons: Price is a little expensive, May make imperfections more noticeable.
