Rihanna for River Island Store Launch Afterparty - Arrivals

A very, very late Rihanna left an entire school waiting for her arrival for almost 3 and a half  hours for an appearance. The 2,000 high school students at Barrington High School won the  ‘Shine Like A Diamond’ contest and RiRi was supposed to make an appearance, but she frustrated most students, who tweeted their disappointment with her lateness.“Kids are frustrated, hungry, annoyed and are even leaving to go to work,” one person blogged via Barrington Life on The Chicago Sun-Times. Some student even walked out. When the Pop Princess was just over an hour late she tweeted, “On my way to Barrington High School in Chicago! I can’t wait to meet these kids man!! They’re major inspirational life changers. This Chicago traffic is now working.” But she still didn’t show up until an additional 2 hours after that message. When she finally turned up she took the stage and said, “I was so impressed and touched seeing the video. I wanted to come and express that to you in person,” and she stayed a whopping 12 minutes.
