Rita Ora was a planned performer at the Teen Choice Awards, but has since mysteriously dropped out. Rita tweeted the sad news, “Guys I am so sorry. I will make it up too you. I promise. I’m devastated. I love my fans.” But according to the Mirror, Rita dropped the show after her ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris said she could not use the song he wrote for her, “I Will Never Let You Down.”
“She had spent a considerable amount of time and energy preparing for her now cancelled performance of the song and is devastated to let her fans down in this way. It is surprising that he has made such a poor choice. This move by bitter Calvin has impacted not only the Teen Choice Award production but the teenage fans expecting to see her perform. He’s let the teens down.”
I don’t entirely believe that Calvin had anything to do with it since usually an artist has to purchase a song before they can use it or risk being sued.
