MTV reality star Diem Brown passed away today after a long battle with cancer. She was just 32. It was just a few days ago that Brown, known for the MTV Challenge had asked for prayers on Twitter after a heartbreaking talk with her doctors.”I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won’t & can’t rollover. Whatever option I have to LIVE I’m grabbing!… Need prayers, advice, support & outreach. No is not an option.”
Diem had a long fight with cancer starting at just 23 when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2003. The cancer came back in 2012 and then over the summer she collapsed while filming another reality show and found out that the cancer had spread to her colon and stomach lining.
I loved Diem on the Challenge shows. She was always so beautiful and vibrant and the life of the party. And then she met CT and went on to have a turbulent relationship which made for good TV, but maybe not so good for her health. She talked so much about wanting to get married and be a mother. She was just 32. So sad.
