Have you tried the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips? No…what are you waiting for! Not only is the application easy as 1-2-3, but its fun and you can experiment with different patterns.  I tried out the Sally Hansen/Avril Lavigne collaboration (limited edition) polish strips, but there is a array of different colors and patterns to suit any occasion.  The formulas are  DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde-free formula. Read what I thought below:

What to expect: Cool patterns, already dry, easy to use,  no mess and lasts for up to 10 days!

The Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips are so much fun and convenient. The kit comes with 16 strips (to fit all nail beds), an orange stick and a tiny nail file. All you need extra is nail polish remover and a cotton swab for cleaning the nail prior to application. Ready to go check out the photos below! I noticed some wear and tear after a week, but it lasted a while…if you take care of the nails. I would definitely try the nail strips again!

Tip 1: Buy a bottle of nail polish remover with acetone for removal, these strips tend to be thick and a little hard to remove with regular nail polish remover.

Tip 2: Apply clear polish on ends and edges as days go by to keep mani longer and from lifting.

Tip 3: Don’t open nail packets until ready to use…they can get stale.

Tip 4: Don’t wet your nails…just in case and please wait  a few hours before you open any soda cans! The strips adhere well to the nails, but they can mess up if they haven’t set before you go picking at things lol!

Here I am with my strips, nail and orange stick! I lined up all my strips and matched them to my nail to see which ones fit. Next step…

I peeled the protective film off the strip and the backing paper and the I applied the strip to my nail (I started with my pinky) .Try to center the strip (adjust quickly) and gently stretch (not too much or you can mess up the design) and smooth out!

Then use you nail file to remove the excess nail strip (with soft pink part of file)! Continue with all nails!
