Saturday Night Live could not let this one slide…The live NBC show decided to take on the Jay Z/Solange elevator fight, with audio included! And the funny Maya Rudolph dropped in to reprise her role as Beyonce. Jay Pharoah took on the role of Jay Z as usual, while Solange was played by newbie, Sasheer Zamata and tensions were high between the two who have allegedly hashed everything out ….and bonus the fight was finally explained!
And it was the return of the digital short starring host and former SNL alum, Andy Samberg who mocked DJs and electronic dance music … “When Will The Bass Drop?” Let’s just the say the bass drop was explosive.
