Terrence Howard might be riding high on Empire‘s success, but he has an ex-wife issue. Howard’s ex-wife Michelle allegedly blackmailed the actor, threatening to release nude photos and video of the actor so he’s trying to cut off her spousal support.
Michelle recently went after the actor claiming she was owed in excess of $500K, since Terrence has been making a banking quite some cash since he signed on with Empire. And he hasn’t been keeping up with his monthly payments wither. She claims he’s hiding money and undervaluing his income.
Sources tell TMZ, Terrence plans to take legal action in April after Michelle asked for a ridiculous spousal support deal or else she would release sensitive photos and videos of the actor –like in the shower, etc. Howard’s lawyer, Brian Kramer says Michelle was only entitles to half-a-year’s worth of spousal support since the marriage only lasted a year, but she ended up with 5 times the amount, which he claims is proof of the blackmail.
It’s hard in Hollywood. Michelle’s really trying to claim that money since her spousal support ends next year.
