Trayvon Martin’s father Tracy Martin is ‘heartbroken!’ “God blessed Me & Sybrina with Tray and even in his death I know my baby proud of the FIGHT we along with all of you put up for him GOD BLESS,” Tracy tweeted after george Zimmerman recived a not guilty verdict in the murder of Trayvon Martin. “Thanks to everyone who are with us and who will be with us si we together can make sure that this doesn’t happen again. Even though I am broken hearted my faith is unshattered I WILL ALWAYS LOVE MY BABY TRAY,” he added.
Trayvon’s mother, Sybrina Fulton also took to Twitter to to thanks the many who supported her. “Lord during my darkest hour I lean on you. You are all that I have. At the end of the day, GOD is still in control. Thank you all for your prayers and support. I will love you forever Trayvon!!! In the name of Jesus!!!”
Martin and Fulton were not in court for the verdict, but had come court for the nearly the entire duration of the trial, except when the photos of Trayvon’s body were shown!
Beyonce had a moment of silence for the teen, who was killed in February 2012 before going into a renditi0n of “I Will Always Love You.”
