Vanity Fair just released their groundbreaking Caitlyn Jenner cover photo and now we get to see Caitlyn in her element in the first promo for E!’s docuseries, I Am Cait. Putting on makeup and worrying about women’s pressure to look good all the time, we watch Caitlyn as she heads out into the world.
E! has announced an eight-part, one-hour documentary series titled I Am Cait, which will illustrate the star living her life as a transgender woman and telling her intimate story as she seeks out her “new normal,” according to the E!News.
“To be able to wake up in the morning, be yourself, get dressed, get ready to go out, and just be like a normal person—that’s a wonderful feeling to go through life,” she told Vanity Fair. “I’ve never been able to do that; it’s always been confusion, it’s always been, you know, I’ve got one side [with] boy clothes, the other side’s women’s clothes. It’s like I cleaned the whole closet out—the boys stuff is gone.”
I Am Cait will premiere on Sunday, July 26, at 9 p.m.,
